Former Warrington Wolves player Darren Burns joins me to discuss his career and time at Warrington.
This week, former Warrington Wolves player Darren Burns joins me to discuss his career and time at Warrington. I find out what Darren is up to these days and how he went back to Warrington to visit not too long ago. We discuss how he got started in rugby league and making his debut for the Western Suburbs, moving to South Sydney and then scoring the first NRL try for Sydney. We also talk about how Darren had a season at the Brisbane Broncos and becoming only one game away from the Grand Final. We chat about how his move to Warrington came about, making his debut in very wet conditions in Barrow and helping save the club from relegation. We talk about the last ever game at Wilderspool, the first season at the new stadium and how retirement came about for Darren at the end of that season.
